Here's a design from Irish fly tyer Alice Conba.
AC Pink Bug - Alice was taught to tie flies by her father who was a champion fly fisher. She won the All Ireland Amateur Fly Dressing Competition when she was 17 years old and decided to become a professional tyer after that. She started her tying business in the early 1960's by hiring 10 local girls producing 1200 flies a day and sending them all over the world.
Hook - Fulling Mill 31160, 10-14
Thread - grey or olive
Overbody - clear Crystaline plastic (12 lb. clear mono used here)
Underbody - fl. pink floss or tying thread
Head - pearly Glister (Ice Dub used here)
