Hey gang, there is going to be some stocking changes here in the Cariboo. They will be planting more of the Horsefly Diploid strain into most lakes, shying away from the ever popular Pennasks. Apparently the pennasks have not been surviving like they have hoped in most lakes, they are snaking out after a few years. My guess is the amount of shiners in the lakes here, competing for food.. Last year I started fishing various shiner patterns and had minimal success so i was wondering if some of you had some experience with fishing shiners and any patterns you could share to this thread. Ill try and post some picks of the ones I tied last year if can find them :)
