Does anyone have a system for marking flies? I want to tye some of the same flies but make some heavier than others. I'm trying to find a way to know the difference in my box.

You could colour code your heads with sharpie. Coat your head with head cement colour just the top with a dot or a line, then let dry good and coat with cement again. I'm sure others here have other ideas
I use different coloured thread heads.
Sometimes a band of colour.
Being somewhat lazy, different coloured thread usually wins out as I don't have to do anything extra.
