Well you can't go wrong with a muddler.
Here is my version. These are stocked by BC shops. ( tied by Umpqua. )
Phearless Coho Muddled.
Hook - tmc 5262 or 5263 or equivalent 2-3x
Bead - Silver ( chrome ) or the dull natural ones if you can find them.
Tail - Natural Mallard flank.
Body - Flo Blue Diamond braid.
Flash - Blue Krinkle Mirror Flash
Wing - Natural Mallard flank. Deer hair from head.
Head - Spun deer.
This has been a good one for a long time.
It really shines in slower clear flows.
