And they don't work worth crap half the time either, ;)
Today, up at the top of a 12' ladder, trying to screw in a #4 slotted set screw, 8" from my face, in half-light. Can't see the screw through the bifocals, through the distance portion of the lens or without my glasses at all. Rick is right, the struggle is real!

I've seen fly boxes with little attachments like bobbin threaders that come off and fit through the hook eye.
It's easier to push a steel wire through the eye then a limp tippet!

I have glasses everywhere now. Just in case. Boat box, sling pack,boat, truck, waders. More is better at this point.
