When i started tying it was very difficult to find or buy a lot of materials that we consider a must today. I didnt have internet at that time... there was no FF magazines there were just occasional article in fishing magazine... so i would run to the shop and buy one as soon as it came out. The disappointment if no FF related article was in it would be almost as grief... Or pure happines of one article was in there....
One of these materials was hackle for palmering buggers.... so i came up at that time with some other ways to give more action to my flies... here is how i did it, and i still do. Notice that tag of marabou near head.... its there with a purpose...
